Ghar Jamai is a 1992 Indian Bollywood drama, comedy, and social film that was released on January 1, 1992. Arun Bhatt directed the film, which was produced by V. P. Shahabadi.
Anil is the protagonist of the story. Anil is a person who is guided by his values and principles. Dwarka Prasad is now impressed enough by these traits to marry his daughter, Mona, to Anil.
The Plot and Story of Ghar Jamai
Anil first refuses to attend the wedding, but later accepts. Dwarka Prasad informs Anil that he must live with his poor family after the wedding because he comes from a poor household.
Mona, who had initially refused to marry Anil, has changed her mind after evaluating his behavior. Mona’s mother, on the other hand, is displeased with Anil’s acceptance as her son-in-law.
Anil’s life changes following his wedding, and he gradually begins to work at Dwarka Prasad’s company.
However, one day, Ramesh & Gopal Das create a trap for Anil by falsely accusing him of stealing the jewelry, and Anil is ordered to leave, which he does.

Anil, on the other hand, finds his sister dancing in the pub and is taken aback to learn that her husband has abandoned her and that she is living as such.
However, when Mona sees Anil and his sister together, she believes Anil is having an affair, but after learning of her relationship with her, she forgives Anil and the situation is resolved.
When the siblings embrace each other and reunite, Mona notices them and assumes Anil is having an extramarital affair.
She begins to mistrust Anil and treats him cruelly. Ramesh & Gopal Das take advantage of this flaw by staging a necklace theft against Anil and his family.
As a result of his humiliation, Anil decides to leave the house. Ramesh is promoted to general manager with the assistance and support of Nirmala, his cunning mother-in-law.
Dwarka Prasad suffered a heart attack at this point, rendering him unable to protect Anil. Gopal Das and Ramesh, a father and son team, continue to erode the corporation in order to enrich themselves.
Ramesh has now been discovered to be Anil’s sister Suman’s impostor spouse. An enraged Ani enters the office with the intention of confronting Ramesh, but instead finds him red-handed attempting to steal 5 lakh rupees from the business cash box.
In an attempt to assassinate Anil, the criminals become aggressive.
However, the truth is accidentally disclosed, and Mona finds that Anil is a completely trustworthy individual. Nirmala, too, realises that she made a mistake by trusting bad individuals.
They greet Anil as he returns home, and he forgives both Gopal Das and Ramesh. Ramesh is moved, and he vows to help.
