A Movie Plot with Twists and Turns
Laila (Divya Bharti), a nightclub dancer in Digvijay Singh’s (Kabir Bedi) five-star hotel, was raised in a brothel. On her deathbed, Laila receives a phone call from her mother, who informs her that she is not her biological mother and that Laila is an adopted kid.
Karan falls for Laila and agrees to assist her in her quest to find her biological mother.
Her investigation takes them to Razia (Farida Jalal), who reveals that there were three girls in her college 18 years ago: Barkha (Dimple Kapadia), Raaj (Amrita Singh), and Salma (Farida Jalal) (Sonu Walia).
Sunil (Mithun Chakraborty), Prince Arjun (Jeetendra), and Akram (Mithun Chakraborty) were all in love with their respective boyfriends (Naseer Abdullah). They found out one day that one of them was expecting a child.
They seized Razia’s house and had the baby delivered. Soon after, when the infant was six months old, she was given to Razia, who promised that whoever was the first to marry would adopt her, and she was given the name Sitara.
Karan learns that Barkha is now the minister of health and welfare, Raaj is a polo trainer and has married Arjun, and Salma is the principal of St. Teresa’s (the college where she studied) and has married Akram.
They have also lost contact with one another.
The three women are invited by Karan and Laila, who give them different reasons for the invitation. When Laila/Sitara approaches them after a dance performance, they turn and walk away.
Salma was the first to marry, but she was afraid to inform her in-laws about Sitara, it was revealed. When Laila is about to be attacked by a street gang, Digvijay Singh tosses her out of his hotel, and Prince Arjun saves her and takes her home.
A person abuses Sitara in front of everyone at a Diwali party, and Barkha reveals that she is Sitara’s mother.
Sitara inquires about her father as she prepares to deliver her resignation letter, and Barkha replies that he left for the U.S. for some kind of military training and that she would never hear from him again.
Barkha goes to quit her job, while Raaj and Salma pay a visit to Sitara. Sitara, Raaj, and Salma are kidnapped by thugs dispatched by Digvijay Singh and Govardhan Das.
While Karan, Barkha, and the Prince are fighting to save them, Sunil appears as a navy officer.
When Digvijay Singh arrives, one of the goons is about to shoot Karan when he is stopped by Digvijay Singh, who shoots the goon and accepts Sitara.
Conclusion
Dil Aashna Hai is an excellent film to see in general. However, it fails for the most part, despite a few memorable scenes. However, die-hard SRK fans may like the film.
